We understand parents may have questions or concerns about enrolling in Moms and Tots programs. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.
Q. The program is named Moms and Tots, does that mean only moms can attend with their children?
A. Absolutely not! We have many dads, grandparents, and caregivers all enjoying our classes with their special child.
Q. Most children's programs have classes that run forty-five or sixty minutes in length, your classes are longer. What's the difference?
A. Our classes are not centered around only one activity, just music, just art, just dance or just storytime. At Moms and Tots we combine all these activities and more into each one of our classes.
Q. The session began several weeks ago, can we still join or do we have to wait for the next session to begin?
A. As long as we have room in an age appropriate class you can join the mommy and me program at anytime and we will pro-rate the price accordingly for classes that have already taken place.
Q. Do I have to pay in full for the class at the time of signup and is there an additional registration fee?
A. No and no. Only a deposit is required to hold a place in one of our classes and there is never a registration fee.
Q. We missed a class, can we make it up?
A. Yes. Whether your child wasn't feeling well, was napping, or you were away on vacation, a missed class can be made up anytime during the current session. Just call the office first to check availability.
Q. How old should my child be to join the My Playtime separation class and how many times per week can they come?
A. Most children are ready to separate between the ages of 2 and 3 years, but we offer both parent child classes and separation classes for this age group giving parents the option to choose what works best for their child's needs. Children can come once, twice or three times per week to our two hour My Playtime classes.
